Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join us. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between clients and our technical solutions. Your expertise in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into actionable insights will contribute to the successful development and implementation of the projects.
This is full-time role and although you will be mostly working remotely, you will be required to attend physical meetings with clients and a weekly progress meeting with the company’s stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, software developers, and clients, to understand business goals, objectives, and requirements.
- Gather and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring they are clear, complete, and aligned with business needs.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and/or meetings/workshops to elicit and validate requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs and expectations.
- Create comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, process flow diagrams, and other relevant documentation to support the software development life cycle.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure software solutions meet business requirements and user expectations.
- Proactively identify and communicate risks, issues, and potential roadblocks to project stakeholders, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software development and business analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Prior Experience is a great advantage.
- Good knowledge of SEO practices and the ability to optimize content accordingly.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
- Proficient in gathering and documenting functional and non-functional requirements, using techniques such as user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business processes into clear and actionable requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering accurate and high-quality documentation.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Business acumen and the ability to understand and align business needs with technical solutions.
- It’s a plus if you possess:
A Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification.
Experience in working on software projects in domains such as e-commerce or enterprise systems.
Experience or are familiar with project management principles and tools.
Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance processes.
