Finance Executive (Accounts Receivables)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance Executive to join our team. As a Finance Executive, you will play a vital role in managing accounts receivables, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections, and financial record keeping.

Responsibilities:

  1. Generate and distribute client statements, reminders, and payment notices to facilitate timely collections.
  2. Follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  3. Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions, including payments, adjustments, and collections activities.
  4. Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly, collaborating with internal departments, clients, and stakeholders as necessary.
  5. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements related to accounts receivables, highlighting trends, delinquencies, and potential risks.
  6. Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes, implement improvements, and optimize accounts receivables operations.
  7. Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial analysis and audit preparations.

Requirements:

    1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
    2. Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role, preferably with a focus on accounts receivables management. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
    3. Strong knowledge of accounts receivables principles, practices, and procedures.
    4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
    5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
    6. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    7. Proficient in Accounting and Invoicing Software such as Zero.
    8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
    9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and a positive work ethic.
    10. Knowledge of relevant accounting and finance regulations and standards is a plus.
