Account Manager (Web and Ecommerce Solutions)

Position Overview
We are seeking a a talented and driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and expanding relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and driving the success of their web development projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, establishing strong relationships and understanding their business objectives, project requirements, and timelines.
  2. Collaborate closely with clients to gather project specifications, provide expert guidance, and translate their needs into actionable plans for our web development team.
  3. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication, project coordination, and timely delivery of high-quality web solutions.
  4. Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services, such as website maintenance, upgrades, and digital marketing solutions, to maximize client satisfaction and revenue generation.
  5. Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and manage client expectations throughout the development lifecycle, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or challenges.
  6. Monitor key account metrics, track client performance, and provide regular reports to internal stakeholders and clients, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  7. Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and align with industry best practices and web development standards.
  8. Collaborate with the internal teams to support the proposal development process, providing insights, technical expertise, and accurate cost estimates for new projects or client requests.
  9. Stay informed about the latest web development trends, technologies, and industry advancements to provide clients with innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge.
  10. Build and maintain a comprehensive client database, including project details, contact information, and feedback, to facilitate efficient account management and future business opportunities.

Requirements:

    1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
    2. Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role within the within the web development industry
    3. Solid understanding of web development principles, technologies, and project management methodologies.
    4. Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients at various organizational levels.
    5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.
    6. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex situations, anticipate client needs, and propose effective solutions.
    7. SProficiency in project management tools, collaboration platforms, and CRM software.
    8. Familiarity with web design and development software, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems (CMS).
    9. Proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences and achieving client satisfaction and project success.
    10. It’s a plus if you have:
      Agile or Scrum Certification
      Knowledge of Government grants such as PSG, etc.
